Dornbirn’s “inatura” presents itself as a special type of museum.
“Feel free to touch”
In its exhibition, inatura shows topics related to nature, humans and technology.
The museum includes interactive games and video projections as well as live small animals and stuffed animals that one may touch.
In the latest focus of the exhibition, one embarks on a journey through our body. Questions like: Which systems does the human body need in order to exist? How do we work? What can these systems do and how are they best cared for? How do we think, feel and experience? We wander through our organ systems, finding out in a fun manner, with all senses, how they work and how we can care for them optimally.
An exhibition that makes the human being accessible and makes it possible to comprehend our existence in a completely new way. An exhibition about our very being. The fascinating question of “how” is the focus here; the question of “why” is probably another story…
In addition, on the way through the inatura permanent exhibition, one comes across not only exceptional, historical industrial architecture, but also repeatedly encounters technical points – the science zones. The more than 40 interactive points are devoted in entertaining fashion to technical and physical phenomena.
Current special exhibitions, the restaurant, the play park and the city park make a trip to the inatura family and group-friendly.
