World’s largest Rolls-Royce museum
Classy and exceptional
The Rolls-Royce is legendary – elegance, aesthetics and stylish luxury are connected with it. The world’s biggest Rolls-Royce museum is located in a historic textile factory not far from the Rappenlochschlucht gorge, a popular trip destination in the idyllic district of Gütle. Where Emperor Franz Joseph once commissioned the first telephone of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, today one finds a superlative automotive museum. More than 1,000 exhibits, 3,500 square metres of exhibition space on three levels, a reconstruction of the first production site of Rolls-Royce in Manchester, an in-house restoration workshop and the Hall of Fame are just a few of the highlights. On an individual tour, the exciting stories about the extensive hunt for the exhibition items and their restoration in the correct style are revealed. In the tea room, everything is focused on the flair and lifestyle of the 1920s and 30s.
