From small round hikes to extended hikes: a well-developed and signposted network of paths awaits you.
The uniqueness of Vorarlberg’s state capital is characterised above all by the landscape combination of lake and mountain. The local mountain of the residents of Bregenz, the Pfänder, presents itself as an ideal opportunity to include hikes in one’s leisure pursuits.
The ascent of approximately 600 metres in altitude definitely pays off: the breathtaking view of Lake Constance, the Rhine Valley and the Swiss mountains allows one to forget any everyday stress. Summit conquerors are also rewarded in culinary terms. Numerous inns and break stops around the mountain station provide for the necessary refreshment for the descent, for further routes along the cheese trail or up to the Hirschberg via the Hochberg.
