Bildraum Bodensee enriches the art scene
With the opening of Bildraum Bodensee in summer 2015 in Bregenz, the lively art scene around Lake Constance received a further impetus thanks to a new art space for contemporary, interdisciplinary art. The new exhibition space in the old post office building initiated by Bildrecht GmbH – in direct proximity to the Art House and the vorarlberg museum – primarily serves artists and creative artists from the region as an attractive platform for contemporary, innovative and experimental art. Artists of different genres find in these exhibitions spaces a representative platform and in Bildrecht a dynamic partner in art communication. Changing exhibitions, cooperations with national and international artists, cultural institutions, galleries, dance festivals and film festivals ensure a varied event programme.
Alert public to culturally relevant topics
In addition to its activity as a copyright company in licensing and legal matters, Bildrecht sees itself as a not-for-profit body with the objective of alerting the public to culturally relevant topics. It sees strengthening the value placed on art as well as the concrete, existential basis of artists as its primary task, which it fulfils with a competent team and a multifaceted service for its members. With its institutions, Bildrecht promotes creative innovations and the public perception of artists in Austria. In cultural-political discourse, it is consistently committed to respectful and fair dealings with intellectual property.
